IMPRESSIONIST & MODERN ART
This department offers paintings, sculptures and works on paper by the foremost artists of the late 19th century and first half of the 20th century.
Often referred to as Masters, this period represents tremendous legacy collecting potential.
Artists included forged artistic movements such as Impressionism, Fauvism, Cubism and Surrealism. We include "anti-Modern" or "anti-aesthetic" movements of the mid 20th century figurative painting abstract works and non-Western art.
We have privileged access to works by the following artists in private collections: Paul Cézanne, Gustave Courbet, Salvador Dalí, Edgar Degas, Max Ernst, Alberto Giacometti, Vincent Van Gogh, Juan Gris, Wassily Kandinsky, Gustav Klimt, Fernand Léger, Kazimir Malevich. Édouard Manet, Joan Miro, Amedeo Modigliani, Piet Mondrian, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Man Ray, Gino Severini.
